Young Naturalists (Half Day)

Young Naturalists (Half Day)

Join us for our fun nature inspired activities for young people.

Aimed at young people with an interest in nature, wildlife and the environment. Meet like-minded young people, take an active role in promoting and protecting nature and gain first-hand experience of practical conservation and wildlife surveying. The sessions will connect with nature and develop personal skills including confidence, independence, resilience, communication and creativity. Each session we will focus on something different including: Climate Change, Practical Conservation, Amphibian Surveying, Pollution Indicators, Pollinators and Moth and Bat Surveys. The group will help decide the activities and plan the next sessions. There will be a focus on understanding local and global conservation issues and how they, as individuals and as a group, can contribute to wildlife conservation.
