Stargazing & Moon Watching Night Walk– celebrating dark skies and quiet observation

Step into the stillness of the night and celebrate the beauty of dark skies with us. This peaceful two hour evening begins with a gentle walk to our meadow, where the lower light pollution gives us a perfect window into the universe above. Using our telescopes, we’ll take a closer look at the Moon and its stunning craters and spend time exploring the stars with both the naked eye and stargazing apps. Together, we’ll search for constellations, trace the stories behind them, and see if we can spot any visible planets. This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, look up, and connect with the night sky in a quiet, shared moment of discovery. Please note: the walk will take place in low light on uneven ground, bringing a torch and wearing sturdy footwear is recommended. In the event of clouded skies and wet weather , this event will still take place, however the content may be adjusted to still provide a great experience.
